Locating native plants for your garden

How do people find native plants for their garden?  Here is a great article on just that.  One more thing to keep in mind is to make sure the source of your plants in NOT digging/stealing them from the wild, but is propagating the plants themselves.  Stolen plants are now becoming a big and dangerous problem for many of the rarer plants.  Check out your sources before you buy so you too don't become part of the problem.  Also I have included a link to the Lady Bird Johnson site where you can search for good places to buy, (sadly the link in the article is no good).  I like to buy as many of my plants as seed.  That way I know that the plants themselves have not been stolen from their native environment.
